Why manual sales hold a camp back
In most camps, a booking still looks like this: a parent calls or fills in a form, a manager calls back, checks availability, sends payment details and copies everything into a spreadsheet. It works — until the season opens.
At peak times requests pile up, replies get slower, and some parents simply go to another camp. Requests that arrive in the evening or at weekends wait until Monday. And every manual step is a chance for a typo in a name, a date or an amount.
What a booking module changes
CampBox embeds a booking module directly into your camp website. Parents go through the whole purchase themselves:
- Choose a session and a programme.
- Enter their own and their child's details.
- Apply a promo code, if they have one — the price is recalculated automatically.
- Pay online, in full or in part.
Booking keeps working outside office hours, so evening and weekend demand turns into sales instead of a to-do list for Monday morning.
Flexible payments
Not every family pays the full price in one go. The module supports partial payment, so a parent can secure a place now and pay the rest later. If your camp hasn't connected online acquiring yet, parents can still reserve a place and pay later, as agreed with the camp.
Sold out? Use the waitlist
When a session is full, new requests don't disappear — they go to a waitlist. If a place frees up, you can offer it to waiting parents right away instead of starting the search from scratch.
Every sale is already in the system
Everything a parent does is recorded automatically in the CampBox admin panel: who booked, which session, how much has been paid and which promo code was used. Managers no longer re-type data from emails and messengers — they work with requests that are already complete.
